Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information handled through CaregiverAgency.ca. It does not invent a fixed retention period or business address that has not been approved.

Information we collect

The enquiry form asks for a name, email address, city, province or territory, type of help, consent and technical submission fields. A phone number, household requirements, schedule, budget, duties, language preferences, general location and contact preference are optional. Email correspondence may contain information you choose to provide.

Please do not submit medical records, government identification, financial-account details, passwords or access codes through the form.

How we use information

We use enquiry information to review and respond to the request, discuss a possible caregiver or home-helper search, operate and secure the form, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, and maintain necessary business records. We do not use the form submission to start a paid search automatically.

Service providers and sharing

The site is hosted using Vercel infrastructure. Form submissions are sent through the email provider configured by the site operator and delivered to the configured enquiry inbox. Those providers process information to supply hosting, security and email-delivery functions. The current site code does not install advertising cookies or an analytics service.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or with your direction. We do not claim to sell personal information.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and applicable record-keeping, dispute or legal requirements. No fixed period is stated because one has not been approved. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may choose not to provide optional fields. To ask about access, correction or deletion of information submitted through this site, email the address below. A request may need enough information to locate the relevant record and may be subject to applicable legal requirements.
